How we handle your information
A plain-language explanation of what we collect and why — not a substitute for a formal legal Privacy Policy, which we'll publish separately once it exists.
What we collect
If you send us an enquiry: your name, email, company (optional), and your message. If you create an account: your name, email, and password — stored as a secure one-way hash, never as readable text. If you sign in: a single cookie that identifies your session. We don't collect payment details, precise location, or health information anywhere on this site.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to let you sign in and manage an account, and to keep that account secure. That's the whole list — we don't use your information for anything beyond what you asked us to do.
Cookies & tracking
We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in — that one doesn't require your permission, since it's necessary for a feature you asked for. If you opt in through , we also set an anonymous, first-party analytics cookie so we can see which pages get used — no third party involved, no cross-site tracking. There's also an Advertising option in that panel, but it's honestly inert: Britli doesn't run advertising or ad-tracking of any kind today, so opting in just records your preference in case that ever changes — it doesn't start anything. We don't use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
Who can access it
Our own team, for the purpose of responding to you or operating your account. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Where it's stored
Today, Britli runs as a single system rather than splitting data by region — we're a Finland-founded company without the separate regional infrastructure described in our longer-term global architecture plans. That will become more specific as we actually expand into new markets, not before.
How long we keep it
We don't yet have an automated retention schedule — that's something we intend to formalize. Until then, if you'd like your information removed, contact us and we'll act on it directly. If you have an account, you can also delete it yourself at any time from your account page.
